This lively Pinot Noir is from grapes grown within the warm Valle Central appellation and the cool coastal regions of Casablanca. The fruit from Valle Central offers strawberry jam, plum and raspberry characters with a soft mid-palate and delicate tannins. Even ripening and darker color development in the cooler Casablanca coastal fruit adds blackberry and spice characters. Blended together, these two regions create a wonderfully fun and enjoyable wine.The 2013 vintage opens with sweet aromas of cherry pie, savory herbs and a hint of cola. It leads to an elegant body of rhubarb, black cherry and clove and a silky finish.
